Well my children are not young to want to Santa anymore. However, I do find that the imaginations of children is breathtaking. As my children get older I find that we miss those small moments and we miss the innocence of the children we have. Do you believe or do you not believe.
As a woman in my late 30’s I still believe in the magic of the Holidays. I believe that there is still some good in the world and we can share that with others. My heart is always full to the brim of love and cheer during this season. It never ceases to amaze me to see how others that have the means will help those in need. Giving back to the less fortunate is our calling in our Christian world. Some live by that and some choose to take advantage of that. Giving back doesn’t have to be monetary, it doesn’t have to be tangible. Giving back shows that you care and that we are here as soldiers of Christ to spread the world and the love. To show others that they are not alone.
My darling Princess, is showing her love as a child of God. She told me that we need to adopt a family and show them the true meaning of how a family should operate and support each other. I am particularly proud of her as my own living parent has decided to show the world how ugly her personality and image is by choosing people that are not blood family over ones that are. A very wise physician that I have seen for years, advised that just because they are blood doesn’t mean they are good for you. Boy did she hit the nail on the head. S;ince then I have focused on making my life what I want it to be.
Do you believe?
When our children were little, we focused more on our Catholic teachings of Saint Nicholas. That to me is truly fascinating. A Saint in the early 4th Century that would take gifts to less fortunate.
Another way I have found the magic of the season truly inspiring is, I work with a great group of people who have taken it upon themselves to fully fund an adoption for a family. This to me is inspiring and is what everyone else in the world should be doing. I feel very strongly about adoption, I have a lot of friends that have adopted and it gives hope to the families that can’t have children. also, on the flip side gives that child a family that they may not have had before. To me giving is believing and I am truly thankful I am surrounded by people that have the hearts and the means to provide.
Happy Holidays and Much Love,
