Lunch Overhaul

Lunch Overhaul

Salad in a Jar

Have you been bored with your lunches or even dinner? I know I have, I am always looking for something new to eat for lunch, therefore, the purpose of my Lunch Overhaul.

Lunch Overhaul

Wildtree has a salad bundle that you can get the ingredients and recipes to prep a kit for Salad in  a Jar.  I have seen this idea and i can’t wait to try it and start a new refresh on lunches and dinners.  Darling Princess is starting her track and field season so life as we know it will be crazy and hectic.  The last thing we want to do is eat out.  We are thinking this will be a good spin on saving money and eating healthy.  I betcha, even darling Prince and Princess will eat one too.  They too, love a good salad.  Especially when they can build their own and put their own spin on it.

Dinner Revamped

Also, while running everywhere for dinners after the Spring Sports games you can also pack a different spin to eat on the go.  I am so excited for this option I can hardly stand it.  Eating healthy and passing that on to my kids is a big passion that I have.  We could all use a little tips here and there.  If you have a good tip, please send it my way.  I love to here what everyone does with the busy seasons.   Click the link below to get your salad bundle, along with all kinds of other goodies.,2114,339.aspx

All Natural Cooking

Home is where my stove is

We have all thought and tried an all natural way to revamp our dinners.  I know I have and I am sure you have too.  Well, let me tell you a story on a new spin to All Natural Cooking.

Did you know that cooking all natural (no package meals) is just as easy?  I know I didn’t either.  Well now I do.  We have all used and heard of Hamburger Helper and the pre-packaged meals.  I have a good friend that has turned me onto Wildtree.  If you haven’t tried Wildtree I would suggest you jump over to this website and check it out.  I have discovered so many different meal ideas. I have totally revamped my dinner solutions.  Before we go any further, I have a High Schooler and a Pre-teen so these meals are just as easy as the quick go to meals.  Plus, it replaces eating out all week which is not good for our waist line and our pocket books.  Here’s a little about Wildtree

All Natural Cooking

All Natural Cooking

All Natural Cooking has never been easier and here’s some ideas that we do on the go.  Hamburgers and Mac and Cheese, Hamburgers with either Spicy Carne Asada Seasoning or Rancher Steak Rub (yummy)!  Mac and Cheese with the Kids Cheez Blend (replaces Kraft Mac and Cheese), these are super yummy and approved by darling Prince that is a Mac and Cheese Connoisseur.   Next up is the skillet meals, so many to choose from, but my favorites are the Lasagna Skillet Meal and the Stroganoff Skillet Meal.  You seriously can’t go wrong and it is all natural ingredients and good for you and no more expensive then going to the grocery store.  Plus, it will be acceptable for you loved ones with allergies.

Here’s some recipes I have done

Just this weekend we made a roast with the Spicy Carne Asada Seasoning.  It was yummy, here’s what we did.  I seasoned the roast with Spicy Carne Asada Seasoning and seared it with the All Natural Grapeseed oil until browned on all sides (gives it more flavor).  Then I slow roasted it for about 3 hours in a 300 deg oven in my dutch oven.  When it comes out it is so yummy and fork tender.

The side dish was au gratin potatoes (from scratch of course) .  I peeled potatoes and sliced them on my mandolin.  Next my sauce, I made a classic roux, then added some heavy cream and milk then added some cheese and second added my Kids Cheez Blend.  These were cooked in a 350 deg oven for about an hour.  At the end of the cooking time, to make sure the top was nice and yummy I broiled for about 3 minutes at 450 deg.  Most fantastic for sure.

I can’t say enough about my new found love.  I am a foodie at heart and I want the best for my family knowing we are putting good stuff in our bodies.   Give it a try I am positive you won’t be disappointed.

Make your own home products

Make your own products

My newest venture is branching out and hosting Make and Take with our Essential Oils.  I will tell you for sure that this whole website/blog and hosting classes is me totally stepping out of my comfort zone as well as kicking my royal rear!  In retrospect, the feelings of inadequacies and not being good enough can be overwhelming when you take on the world wide web. However, I know there is a need out there for others to know about healthier products and how to do it on a budget.  Therefore, this momma keeps on trucking!

By far, I am not a techy outgoing person and I am certainly not savvy enough to build a website by myself.  But you know what?  I did it, I broke the mold on myself and did hard things.  How do you say, I am realizing that keeping the knowledge i have about how to make all natural things is not helping a single soul keeping it to myself.  Seriously, if I can show a young mom how to make her own chemical free hand sanitizer and keep that baby healthy my dreams be answered.

Parents and responsibilities

We as parents, have a responsibility to give our families the best they can get and living an all natural lifestyle is the best we can do.  Also, providing the childhood where we can live free of worries and not having harmful items around.  Make your own products is a great way for parents on a budget to get those all natural products and not break the bank as well as feeling good about what they are using.  The possibilities are truly endless when we start looking at the big picture.  Truthfully, I had no idea the amount of things I could replace in my home with all natural products that I could make.  Seriously, the possibilities are truly endless.
